Well I have had a new winscreen fitted by Mobile Windscreens in Worcester and am absolutly delighted with the result. Green tint with a Green top band. You couldnt ask for a neater job, beautifully done.

They had the car for two days and would always want a TVR in the branch for at least a day. They said its NOT a job to be rushed on someone drive.

I hadnt realised how obscured the old screen was by micro chips and scretches etc, ita a relavation to see out so clearly. Well worth the cost.

If anyone is interested the retail price is a wopping £504!!! But it was done for a LOT less. The person to speak to is Phil Lomas (Director and General Manager) 530dTPhil here, of Mobile Windscreens.

They keep a stock of S windscreens (in fact the worcester breach keeps one in stock due to the closeness of David Gerald)

Hi Norman

Trust you are well and glad you are pleased the windscreen - looks 'brilliant'. I like the sun shade strip - the sun can be a problem when driving - the sun visors are really not very good. The detailing looks very tidy and no white corners any more!

My screen has an slight defect across the viewing line in the glass which can distort a distant image - presumably the new 'screen is perfect.

Must make a note of the suppliers for future ref.

cheers

George

What are the rough bits on the backfill (around the glass)?

I had mine done in Yeovil earlier in the year after talking to Phil. Very good job.
